A Year in Review: My Five Favorite Polishes of 2017

In 2017, I wore 61 different manicures! In retrospect, it seems like a small number compared to the amount of bottles I BOUGHT…. Whoops.

I took a nice trip down manicure lane and picked out my five favorite polishes of 2017!

My number one polish this year was, hands down, Femme Fatale’s “Exosphere”, which was an exclusive to the November 2017 Holo Hookup box. This polish is my dream polish color. The blue shimmer is absolutely fantastic, and I love anything holographic!

Next up is ILNP’s “Cityscape”, from their Summer 2017 collection. This is the BEST black holographic polish I’ve ever used. It’s a must-have for any holo-lover’s polish collection. The formula was amazing and I couldn’t stop staring at this one in the sunlight!

Third on my list is Glam Polish’s “Why Couldn’t It Be ‘Follow the Butterflies’?”. This was one of Glam’s exclusive duos made for their Facebook fan group. This polish is based on Harry Potter character Ron Weasley, which is one reason it makes it to the top of my list! The flakies are also incredible in this polish.

I wore a lot of Femme Fatale thermals in 2017, but I wanted to choose a shade made in 2017 for this post. This is “Nightfall”, which is a Live Love Polish exclusive. All of Femme Fatale’s thermals are amazing, and this one was no different! I got several comments that this was the perfect winter thermal because of it’s “frozen” look! The holographic glitters are gorgeous.

Lastly, my fifth favorite polish of 2017 has to be Blush Lacquer’s “Evening Sparkler”. I got really into intense shimmer polishes towards the end of 2017, and this was my introduction to the shimmer party! The red shimmer in this polish is SO ridiculously intense. This was my first Blush Lacquers polish, and it definitely made a great first impression!

How many different manicures did you wear in 2017? What were some of your favorite shades? Did any of my favorite shades make your list, too? Let me know in the comments!
