Today I have swatches of my first polish from Quixotic Polish! I had been searching for the perfect moon-themed polish, and this one was exactly what I was looking for. Shoutout to my nail polish bestie Ayesha for, once again, introducing me to a new polish brand!
Moon Rise is reminiscent of our beautiful moon and its glow.
This polish has a white creme base with an intense red shimmer and holographic glitters. Here is a close-up shot of the shimmer and sparkles.
This polish was opaque for me in three coats, but I added a fourth coat to even out some brush streaks. If you have shorter nails, you should be able to reach opacity in 2-3 coats of polish.
White polishes often have so-so formulas, but I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the smooth and easy to work with formula in this shade! It did take a few coats to build up due to the color, but the formula itself was great. I can’t wait to try more shades by this brand in the future!
