Elsie is an orangey-red holographic jelly polish with some additional yellow microglitters from Julep. This polish is described as sheer, but it was opaque for me in two coats of color.
The Julep website describes Elsie as a strawberry pink; however, in person, my bottle is definitely more red and leans red-orange. The holographic is visible, but not overpowering. I was hoping for more holo, but if you’re new to the holo world and want something a little more subtle, this would be a good choice.
The formula was very easy to work with thanks to the jelly base. If you’re looking for a pop of color for spring or summer with some added holographic to make things a little more interesting, you may want to pick up this shade in your next Julep Maven box!
