“Turn On the Northern Lights” is a moody dark blue from OPI’s Iceland 2017 collection.
This shade is a deep indigo blue with a pink shimmer. This color actually reminds me a lot of Blush Lacquers “Evening Sparkler”, but OPI’s version doesn’t have as intense of a shimmer to it. Nonetheless, this is a very pretty shade and is pretty unique for an OPI.
This shade applied very easily and its formula was on the thin side. It was opaque in two coats of color, and I had zero issues with staining from this shade.
I was lucky enough to find Turn On the Northern Lights at TJ Maxx for just $3.99, along with some other shades from the Iceland collection. Keep an eye out at your local TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores if you’re interested in getting a bottle for yourself! As of the time of this post, this shade can also still be found in Ulta stores.
