It’s time for part 1 of my swatches for the November Hella Handmade Creations pre-order!
New to Hella Handmade Creations? Every month, HHC offers exclusive polishes from your favorite indie nail polish brands during a week-long pre-sale. The November pre-sale will be open from November 14th at 12:01 AM EST until November 21 at 11:59 PM Hawaiian on Hella Handmade Creations’ website. You can buy as many polishes as you want during the pre-sale. Each brand participating in HHC has picked their own theme to create specially inspired polishes.
The first shade I have to share is from Quixotic Polish, who was inspired by Tom from Parks and Recreation to create “Red Carpet Insole”, which will be $10.00 with no cap.
This shade is a bright cherry red with tons of sparkle, including holographic glitters, holographic shimmer, and gold shimmer. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish.
This polish is beautiful outdoors under the direct sunlight!
Chirality Nail Polish was inspired by Time Lady Missy from Doctor Who to create this beautiful purple, “Say Something Nice”, which will be $11.00 with no cap.
Say Something Nice has a violet base with blue to purple shifting microflakes, dark blue microflakes, intense purple sparkles, silver holographic microglitters, and blue to purple shifting iridescent flakes. I used three coats of polish for my swatch photos.
Lollipop Posse was inspired by The Magicians to create “Poor Little Magic Girl”. This shade will be $13.00 and has no cap.
This polish has a silvery-white base with strong pink aurora shimmer, linear holographic pigment, and silver holographic microflakes. This shade was opaque in two coats of nail polish.
The shimmer and intense holographic effect stand out beautifully under direct sunlight!
Girly Bits Cosmetics’ “Priori Incantatem” was inspired by a spell from Harry Potter; specifically, the moment that Harry and Voldemort’s wands shared a connection. This polish will be $13.00 with no cap.
Priori Incantatem is a moss green with an intense red-orange aurora shimmer, a soft holographic glow, and pops of green and gold holographic microglitters. I used two coats of polish for my swatch photos.
The holographic effect is beautiful outdoors in the sun; the natural light also lightens the green base color considerably.
Wildflower Lacquer was inspired by The Golden Girls to create “Beat It, You 50 Year Old Mattress!”. This polish will be $12.00 and has a cap of 80 bottles.
This beautiful blue is a dark blue jelly with pink and purple flakes. I used two coats of polish for my swatch photos.
Blush Lacquer is introducing “Pink Tail Fly”, which is inspired by The Pink Panther. This gorgeous gold will be $11.50 and has no cap.
Pink Tail Fly has a caramel honey linear holographic base with small gold holographic glitters and large iridescent shifting green, gold, orange, and red glitters. This shade was opaque in two coats of polis and the large glitters spread fairly easily across the nail.
This polish is absolutely jaw-dropping under the sun!
Sayuri’s “My Precious Secret” is inspired by Marnie from Studio Ghibli. This polish will retail for $13.00 and has a cap of 150 bottles.
My Precious Secret is a soft holographic powder blue with a strong golden glow sprinkled with gold holographic microglitters. I used three coats of polish for my swatch photos.
Grace-full Nail Polish, was inspired by Wonder Woman from DC to create this vibrant shade, “Paradise Island”. This polish will retail for $11.00 and has a cap of 80 bottles.
Paradise Island is a red linear holographic with gold shimmer. I used two coats of polish for these swatch photos.
Fancy Gloss has a beautiful new thermal perfect for fall! “Listen Up Fives, a Ten is Speaking!” was inspired by Riverdale and will be $12.50 with no cap.
This polish is a red to burnt orange thermal with scattered holographic. I used two coats of polish for my swatch photos.
Here is the cold state of this thermal, a bright red.
And, here it is in the warm state, a warm fall orange.
