New to Hella Handmade Creations? Every month, HHC offers exclusive polishes from your favorite indie nail polish brands during a week-long pre-sale. The February pre-sale will be open from February 14th at 12:01 AM EST until February 21 at 11:59 PM Hawaiian on Hella Handmade Creations’ website. You can buy as many polishes as you want during the pre-sale. Each brand participating in HHC has picked their own theme to create specially inspired polishes.
Sayuri’s “Chill Out” was inspired by ice cream! This cool mint base has a shimmery strawberry effect as well as chameleon iridescent micro-sprinkles. This shade will retail for $13.75 and has a cap of 120 bottles of polish. My swatches show this polish in two coats of color.

Nail Hoot is joining HHC with the theme Desperate Housewives, one of my favorite TV shows! “Lynette” has a royal purple linear holographic base with a subtle pink flash of shimmer. This shade will be $10.99 and has no cap. I found this polish to be opaque in two coats of polish.

Turtle Tootsie created “John”, inspired by The Beatles. This shade has a black holographic base with red shimmer and red holographic microglitters. I found this shade to be opaque in two coats of polish. John will retail for $11.00 and has a cap of 75 bottles.

Wildflower Lacquer is beginning a new theme this month. “The Mirth Mobile” was inspired by Wayne’s World. This shade has a bright turquoise jelly base with linear holographic, gold flakies, and red to orange shifting UCC flakies. This polish will retail for $12.50 and has a cap of 80 bottles. My swatches show this polish in two coats of color, but you can build up the turquoise base with a third coat.

Seventy Seven Lacquer was inspired by female rocker Courtney Love to create “Someday You Will Ache Like I Ache”. This fantastic nude has a mix of shifting shimmer, copper and orange shimmer, and copper rose pigment. Rarely do I find a nude polish that I enjoy as much as this one! This shade was opaque in three coats of polish, and the added shimmer makes the formula easy to work with. This shade will be $12.50 and has a cap of 50 bottles.

Colors by Llarowe continues their new theme, Freddie Mercury, with “I Am SO Grounded!”. This particular polish was inspired by the outstanding outfit worn by Freddie Mercury when CbL maker met him backstage after one of his concerts! This shade has a silver holographic base with six types of holographic and silver galaxy holographic. I absolutely love this stunning holographic and found it to be opaque in two coats of polish. This shade will retail for $11.00 and has no cap.

Shleee Polish is joining HHC with their theme Gwen Stacy. Shleee Polish created “Symbiote”, a white based polish with pink iridescent unicorn and aurora pigments as well as a subtle holographic effect. I used three coats of polish for my swatch photos. This shade will retail for $16.00 and has a cap of 100 bottles.

Illyrian Polish was inspired by The Craft to create “Light as a Feather”. This polish has a grey crelly base and is packed with scattered holographic, micro holographic flakes, and a mix of iridescent shifting flakies. My swatches show Light as a Feather in two coats. This shade will retail for $13.00 and has no cap.

Chirality was inspired by Doctor Who to create “Paternoster Gang”. This shade has a purple to blue to teal shifting multichrome base with a touch of scattered holographic scattered throughout. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish for me and will retail for $12.00 with no cap.

Femme Fatale was inspired by Stephen King to create “Thinner”, which has a velvet blue base with a purple glow, scattered holographic particles, and pink-gold-green chameleon chrome flakies. This shade was opaque in three thin coats of polish for me. Thinner will retail for $14.00 and has no cap.

Lollipop Posse Lacquer was inspired by The Magicians to create “You Didn’t Listen, Did You?”. This polish is a mustard-gold crelly with scattered holographic pigment, red/green/gold shifting shimmer, bronze microflakes, and iridescent color-shifting flakes. My swatches show this polish in two coats of color. This shade will retail for $13.00 and has no cap.

Girly Bits was inspired by Hedwig from Harry Potter to create “A Loss of Innocence”. This polish is a pale mint green with color shifting shimmer, white flakes, and a sprinkling of dark flecks. This shade will retail for $13.00 and has a cap of 95 bottles.

Native War Paints was inspired by Native American culture and history to create a beautiful tri-thermal, “Join the Circle”. Join the Circle transitions from a very pale purple to periwinkle and finally to magenta purple and is packed with holographic flakies, purple/red/orange shifting shimmer, and mix of microflakies in pink, purple, bronze, and gold. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish for me. This shade will retail for $12.50 and has no cap.
