Polish Pickup May 2019 (Colors by Llarowe, Ethereal Lacquer, Illyrian Polish)

This month I have three stunning Polish Pickup shades to share! Included in this post are swatches from Colors by Llarowe, Ethereal Lacquer, and Illyrian Polish.

New to Polish Pickup? Every month, PPU has a theme voted on by fans. Tons of indie makers then create a polish inspired by that theme. You can order as many shades from any maker participating that month for a flat rate of $3 shipping in the U.S. You can learn more about PPU on their website here! This month’s theme is “1980’s”, and these shades will be available from May 3-6th on the Polish Pickup website.

Colors by Llarowe created “I’m So Sure!”, inspired by the movie Valley Girl. This shade is a pretty bubblegum pink with lavender shimmer and blue to purple shifting Aurora shimmer. My swatches show this shade in two easy coats of polish.

Ethereal Lacquer was inspired by Top Gun to create “Danger Zone”. This stunning shade has a deep blurple base with intense red to gold to green color shifting shimmer. I am utterly obsessed with this beautiful shade, which was opaque in two coats of polish.

Illyrian Polish created “Predator”, inspired by the movie Predator. This shade has a dark blue jelly base with green shimmer, a mix of green-blue shifting flakies, and a light blue magnetic effect. My swatches show this shade in two coats of polish; I used a polish magnet over the second coat of polish.

The polishes shown in this post were sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. Thank you so much for reading!
