Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate! Tonight I have a blue and white manicure in honor of the eighth and final night of Hanukkah to share. I used three polishes for this final manicure: Julep "Carmen" (cobalt blue creme), Julep "Channon" (white matte shimmer), and Julep "Jamie" (iridescent flakie topper). Here are some additional swatches… Continue reading Hanukkah Manicure with Juleps “Carmen”, “Channon”, and “Jamie”

Julep “Cathy”
Cathy is a newer shade from one of beauty box brand "Julep"'s most recent collections. I've been buying fewer polishes from Julep over the past couple years, but I was really attracted to this pretty pastel yellow. Cathy is described as a yellow custard with ghost shimmer. Unfortunately, I found Cathy's formula to be pretty… Continue reading Julep “Cathy”
Julep “Tazi”
Tazi is a new shade from beauty box brand "Julep". This shade was released in their recent July 2018 monthly box and is now available for purchase on their website. Tazi is an iridescent light green holographic glitter polish with blue and pink shimmer. Both the blue and pink shimmer are visible in this close-up… Continue reading Julep “Tazi”
4th of July Manicure featuring Juleps “Kris”, “Ginny”, and “Anastasia”
Happy 4th of July to those of you who live in the United States and celebrate! The 4th of July has been one of my favorite holidays since childhood thanks to years of family traditions and fireworks. This year, I used three polishes from Julep to create a glittery, holographic red-white-and-blue mani. Here's a close-up… Continue reading 4th of July Manicure featuring Juleps “Kris”, “Ginny”, and “Anastasia”
Juleps “Samma” and “Primrose”
Today I have two shades from Julep's April 2018 collection, "Samma" and "Primrose". Both of these shades are pretty purples that are perfect for springtime. First up is Samma, a light lavender microglitter polish in a clear jelly base. At first glance, Samma appears a bit silver in color, but a purple shimmer along with… Continue reading Juleps “Samma” and “Primrose”
Julep Elsie
Elsie is an orangey-red holographic jelly polish with some additional yellow microglitters from Julep. This polish is described as sheer, but it was opaque for me in two coats of color. The Julep website describes Elsie as a strawberry pink; however, in person, my bottle is definitely more red and leans red-orange. The holographic is… Continue reading Julep Elsie
Juleps “Felicia”, “Emerson”, and “Kimberly”
These three polishes are amongst some of the most highly sought out Julep polishes. Felicia, Emerson, and Kimberly were originally released in 2014. It took me several months to get my hands on all three of these unique speckled pastel polishes! Emerson (blue) is a robin's-egg-blue pastel creme with black flecks. Kimberly (purple) is a… Continue reading Juleps “Felicia”, “Emerson”, and “Kimberly”
Julep “Regina”
Regina is one of my all time favorite Julep polishes! If you haven't heard of Julep, they are a beauty and nail company that also has a monthly subscription box with new products and polishes each month. I joined Julep's monthly subscription in 2014 and now have an embarrassingly large collection of their polishes! Regina… Continue reading Julep “Regina”
Julep Jaydra
Julep Jaydra is a light pink jelly holographic that leans mauve. It is opaque in 2-3 coats of color depending on how thick you make your coats. Although the polish is described as sheer and holographic, it is really more of a creme, and it is only mildly holographic. I was definitely disappointed in the… Continue reading Julep Jaydra
ILNP “Highline”
This is one of the most unique multichrome polishes I've ever seen! ILNP's "Highline" starts off as a copper brown and reaches green, yellow, and even blue! This chrome is so chromey, ILNP calls it an "ultra" chrome. I sponged on a tiny bit of Julep's Oscar, a plain gold glitter, on my ring finger… Continue reading ILNP “Highline”
