This beautiful grape purple is a recent release from OPI!
“Grandma Kissed a Gaucho” is a medium purple. It does look really vibrant from the bottle, but unfortunately, the formula is more of a sheer jelly, and it doesn’t appear quite as vibrant on the nail. However, I did reach nearly full opacity after three coats of polish. Thanks to the jelly formula, this polish was pretty easy to work with.
I found this shade at Ulta for 50% off, but a couple days later found it at TJ Maxx for just $3.99! If you were hoping to pick up any of the shades from the Peru collection, keep your eyes peeled, as they’re starting to be discounted!
