Hella Handmade Creations April 2019 Swatches Part 1

Happy spring! This post includes part 1 of my Hella Handmade Creations for the April 2019 pre-order. Sadly, due to a severe nail break this month, part 2 of my swatches will be posted later than usual. For now, here are eleven gorgeous polishes for you to add to your shopping list!

New to Hella Handmade Creations? Every month, HHC offers exclusive polishes from your favorite indie nail polish brands during a week-long pre-sale. The April pre-sale will be open from April 14th at 12:01 AM EST until April 21 at 11:59 PM Hawaiian on Hella Handmade Creations’ website.  You can buy as many polishes as you want during the pre-sale. Each brand participating in HHC has picked their own theme to create specially inspired polishes.

Illyrian Polish was inspired by The Craft to create “Earth Air Fire Water”, a sheer dark navy blue with indigo to pink shifting shimmer and orange/pink/gold iridescent flakes. This shade will retail for $13.00 and has no cap. Earth Air Fire Water is opaque in 2-3 coats of polish.

Rogue Lacquer was inspired by Fantastic Beasts to create “Occamy”. Occamy is teal to purple shifting multichrome with scattered fine holographic glitter. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish for me. Check back for a price and cap on this polish!

Colors by Llarowe was inspired by Freddie Mercury to create “Mr. Farenheit”, which has a black crelly base with prismatic holographic flakes and ultra micro white shimmer. This shade will retail for $11.00 with no cap. This polish was opaque in two coats of color for me.

Native War Paints was inspired by Native American culture and history to create “Tread Softly”. Tread Softly has an orchid pink base with bright blue shimmer and scattered holographic shimmer. This shade was opaque in 2-3 coats of polish for me. Stay tuned for a price and cap on this polish!

Lilypad Lacquer was inspired by the Zodiac to create “Aries”, a fiery red-orange holographic with red micro holographic glitter. This shade will retail for $15.50 and has no cap. My swatches show this shade in 2 coats of color.

Nailed It! was inspired by The Vampire Diaries to create “Eternal Stud”, a linear holographic with blue to purple shifting shimmer and crystal, UCC, and silver flakies. This shade will retail for $12.50. My swatches show this polish in 2 coats of color.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes was inspired by The Beatles to create “Ringo”. This will be their final shade in their series inspired by The Beatles. Ringo is a bright pink cream holographic with neon purple and pink micro flakies, blue matte hex glitters, and a sprinkle of aqua shimmer. The blue glitters were somewhat difficult for me to spread evenly across the nail, so I would recommend shaking the bottle after every 2-3 coats of polish in order to bring the glitters to the surface. This shade will retail for $11.00 and has a cap of 75 bottles of polish. My swatches show this shade in 2 coats of color.

Grace-full Nail Polish was inspired by DC to create “Little Green One”, a bright green linear holographic. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish for me and is a phenomenal green for a bright Springtime manicure! Stay tuned for price and cap on this polish.

Wildflower Lacquer was inspired by Wayne’s World to create “Dreamweaver”, a sheer fuchsia with teal, red, and blue iridescent glitter, silver flakies, linear holographic, and crystal flakies that shift from silver to pink to aqua. This shade will retail for $12.50 and has a cap of 80 bottles of polish. This shade was opaque for me in 2 coats of polish.

Pampered Polishes was inspired by Kingdom Hearts to create “Heartless”, a sapphire blue holographic with gold holographic microflakies, silver holographic microflakies, and teal shimmer. This shade will retail for $12.00 and has no cap. My swatches show this shade in two coats of color.

Femme Fatale was inspired by the cover of Stephen King’s novel Duma Key to create “Perse”. This thermal is red in the cold state and clear in the warm state and has white, grey, pale blue, black, and red glitters. My swatches show this shade in 3 coats of polish. Stay tuned for price and cap for this polish!

Lake House Soapery created “Lemonade by the Lake”, a bar of soap made with ingredients including olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, caster oil, and sweet almond oil. This pretty pink bar of soap smells like a blend of lemon, strawberry, mango, and coconut and has a decorative paper straw and cube of soap as well as a dusting of skin-safe glitter on top. This soap will retail for $9.00 and there is a cap of 12 bars of soap.

The polishes shown in this post were sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. Thank you so much for reading!
