Sinful Colors + Vanessa Hudgens Cosmic Dreams Collection

One of my lovely friends from the nail polish community sent me six shades from the Sinful Colors X Vanessa Hudgens “Cosmic Dreams” collection originally released in 2019 and I immediately sat down to swatch these celestial-inspired shades!

“Aquarius” (2600) is a kelly green with a subtle blue/green shimmer. This shade is opaque in 3 coats of polish and dries semi-matte. The formula was a bit gritty, but easy to apply.

“Aurora” (2601) has a metallic blue creme base with subtle scattered holographic glitters. This shade is opaque in 2-3 coats of polish. I would recommend using very straight brush strokes with this shade as the brush strokes are noticeable when it dries down.

2603 – “Celestial” (2603) has a metallic dark purple base with a light pink shimmer and subtle scattered holographic glitters. This shade is probably my favorite from this collection and is opaque in 2-3 coats of polish. Celestial also had the creamiest and easiest to work with formula out of all of the shades in this collection.

“Galaxy” (2604) has a light pink-purple base with intense light blue shimmer and subtle scattered holographic glitters. This polish has a decent formula and is opaque in 3 coats of color.

“Interstellar” (2605) has a dusty rose pink base and subtle gold shimmer and gold microflakies. This shade is opaque in 2-3 coats of polish.

“Space Dust” (2607) is a pearlescent silver with a subtle pink shimmer. I would personally stay away from this particular shade from this collection. Space Dust required 4 coats to reach full opacity on my nails and the formula is very streaky, leaving behind visible brush strokes. I have used many silver polishes with much better formulas!
